Nach der Installation des Hotfixes KB315970 oder KB3148812, kann es sein, dass der WSUS Server nicht mehr korrekt funktioniert.
In der Ereignisanzeige ist folgende Fehlermeldung zu finden und der WSUS Dienst ist beendet: Update Services konnte nicht initialisiert werden und wurde angehalten (Windows Server Update Services Ereignis-ID 507).
Zusätzlich ist im WSUS Log (C:\Program Files\Update Services\LogFiles\SoftwareDistribution.log) folgender Fehlereintrag:
Exception in SimpleAuth constructor: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Der Index war außerhalb des Arraybereichs.
Clientseitig ist der Error 0x80244007 (C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log) vorhanden:
